Additionally, they can inquire about famous authors and books: “Do you have works by J.K. Rowling?” or “What are your bestsellers?” This makes the practice varied and useful.

There are also funny and challenging situations. Someone buys a book online, but when they get home, they discover it’s in a different language. The participant must explain: “I ordered it in Dutch, but it’s in French!” This creates a humorous interaction.

Another scenario involves a customer complaining about a new book that already has notes in it. The participant says: “This is a new book, but there are already notes in it!” This leads to an interesting complaint at the bookstore.

Additionally, a book delivery may be late. The customer complains: “I ordered this book last week, but it still hasn’t arrived!” This opens up a conversation about customer service and solutions.

These role-plays provide a fun way to practice discussing literature and dealing with book-related issues in everyday situations.

An example scenario could be someone saying: “I loved this book!” while another responds: “I thought it was boring.” This teaches them how to express their opinions and respond to others’ views.
