Role-Playing Cards - Bank 2 – Dutch help students practice more complex situations related to banking. For example, they learn what to do if their credit card suddenly stops working while they urgently need money to pay an important bill. This role-play gives them the chance to ask for immediate solutions and to clearly explain their problem to the bank staff.
Students also practice challenging situations, such as when they withdraw money from an ATM, but no cash comes out. To their shock, they see that the amount has been deducted from their account. They then need to inquire at the bank about how this problem can be resolved.
In other scenarios, students learn to ask questions about their accounts or debit cards that are not functioning properly. For example, they practice explaining the situation when they find themselves stuck without cash and need quick help.
Comedic situations make the role-plays dynamic and educational. For instance, they might end up at a different bank only to discover that their bank card does not work there, requiring them to seek assistance. Alternatively, they might think they are solving an international problem with their card, only to find out that their limit has simply been reached by a small purchase.
Through these role-plays, students develop their ability to remain calm, provide clear explanations, and quickly ask questions about their options. They learn to inquire about financial problems and propose solutions, even in unexpected or confusing situations. This way, they better prepare themselves for handling banking tasks and financial inquiries.
