In one scenario, for example, the participant may give a presentation at a business meeting. They must explain why their company is the best. During the presentation, the audience may ask critical questions. The participant learns how to respond to these and how to substantiate their arguments.
In addition to substantive presentations, there are also humorous situations. For example, the participant is giving a presentation, but no one understands what they are saying because the microphone is not working, and they are unaware of it. This leads to funny moments where the participant must resolve the situation.
Another scenario could involve the participant wanting to project onto a digital board, but the board is broken. They must improvise and present in another way.
It can also happen that the participant forgets to charge their computer. This means they cannot show the specially made presentation. They must then continue to present without visual aids while still engaging the audience.
These role-plays help participants become stronger in both content and improvisation when presenting and dealing with unexpected situations.
